IntroductionLauren Sanchez begged Donald Trump's former advisor, Kellyanne Conway for help with her public image
Lauren Sanchez begged Donald Trump's former advisor, Kellyanne Conway for help with her public image when they met at a party, according to a bombshell book.
Dana Mattioli, who wrote a book called 'The Everything War: Amazon's Ruthless Quest to Own the World and Remake Corporate Power,' revealed the unlikely relationship between Jeff Bezos' wife and Conway as Sanchez asked for 'guidance' on managing scrutiny from the media.
Mattoli's book, reviewed by The Daily Beast, said that Sanchez approached Conway at a party in 2020 and said: 'You've had a lot thrown at you. How do you handle it?'
At that time, Sanchez and Bezos' relationship was fresh and all over the media. Mattoli said that Conway replied with flattery.
'Please, have you looked in the mirror? People are jealous of you,' Mattoli reported that Conway said.

Mattoli reported that Conway replied to Sanchez with flattery and suggested going on a 'slow jog around the neighborhood'
'I would say they're jealous because you're dating him,' she added, referring to Bezos - the third richest person in the world.
As the night went on, Mattoli said that Sanchez and Conway went on a 'slow jog around the neighborhood.'
'It was a gesture of goodwill, knowing how seriously Sanchez took exercise,' Mattoli added.
Bezos and former President Trump had somewhat of a rocky relationship as Trump turned on Bezos for the 'fake news' about him in his paper, The Washington Post.
'The #AmazonWashingtonPost, sometimes referred to as the guardian of Amazon not paying internet taxes (which they should) is FAKE NEWS!' the president tweeted in 2017.
Trump has targeted Bezos in the past, saying during the previous presidential campaign that the Amazon founder was using the Post – which he purchased in 2013 for $250 million – as a propaganda tool to help his online retail business.
'Amazon is getting away with murder tax-wise,' he told Fox News, claiming that Bezos 'is using the Washington Post for power so that the politicians in Washington don't tax Amazon like they should be taxed.'
The Post previously published an embarrassing story that revealed a framed TIME magazine cover featuring Trump, hung at several of the president's golf courses and other properties, is a Photoshopped fake.
The following day, the edition of the paper yielded a printed drumbeat of anti-Republican stories that vexed him with alternatively pointed fingers of ridicule and blame.

''Repeal and replace' was once a unifier for the GOP. Now it's an albatross,' read one headline, scolding the president for squandering political capital on a quixotic bid to scrap Obamacare.
'Who's afraid of Trump? Not enough Republicans — at least for now,' read another story-topper, arguing that the president's bully diplomacy has lost its ability to generate both respect and fear.
The last straw, though, may have been an article the Post published just two minutes before Trump's '#AmazonWashingtonPost' tweet.
'Trump has given us no reason to believe he knows anything about health-care policy,' its headline read.
A year later, Trump urged Washington Post staff to go on strike and said that hey wanted to do so because 'Bezos isn't paying them enough.'
Lauren Sanchez found herself in the center of a media storm last week, after British restaurateur Keith McNally scathingly said that she was 'revolting'
'I think a really long strike would be a great idea. Employees would get more money and we would get rid of Fake News for an extended period of time! Is @WaPo a registered lobbyist?'
He tweet came after more than 400 employees of The Post signed on to a public letter to Bezos asking him to remedy working conditions at the newspaper, after more than a year of unsuccessful negotiation with upper management.

In the unprovoked rant shared on Monday, McNally attacked Bezos and Sanchez, saying 'Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos' New wife - Lauren Sanchez - ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING?'
'What an ugly and F***ing SMUG - LOOKING couple they make. Is this what having 1000 Billion dollars does to people?'
He has since sparked fury on social media, with former TV anchor Sanchez sharing a very pointed message on Tuesday night and some of her high-profile friends coming to her defense.
