Donald Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, revealed he will be starting his new album 'rollout' on Sunday night.
The musician and actor, 40, took to his Twitter on Sunday afternoon to announce he is in the process of releasing new tunes.
'GILGA Radio tonight @ 11pm pst. Live streamed on Instagram @donaldglover,' he wrote.
After a fan questioned if he'd be playing new music, Glover — who was recently seen with girlfriend Michelle White in rare red carpet appearance — cheekily wrote back, 'Of course. It's a rollout dummy.'
The new project will be Gambino's first in over four years, following the release of his studio album 3.15.20 in March of 2020.

His fans were thrilled with the announcement, with one writing, 'WE WILL BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT!!!'
'I f*****g missed you please please please rap again,' another added.
Many also speculated whether he might be joining in on the massive rap feud between hip hop stars Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rick Ross, and a number of other artists, which has been unfolding this past week.
'Take shots at drake and kendrick like you did before,' one wrote.
'Childish Gambino pulling up to the Drake & Kendrick Lamar beef,' someone else chimed in.
The artist previously teased new music earlier this year, sharing what seemed to be a tracklist for a new album called Atavista on Instagram in March.
In 2023 he told E! News, 'I'm making music right now, I love it. I'm actually working, I'm in the studio. I've been bringing people in, like secret people, working on little things.'
'But I just been, you know, making it for fun right now. But soon something will happen, I promise. Something will happen.'

It's been more than 12 years since he got his musical career off the ground with his debut LP Camp (2011); seen in 2019
The announcement comes after Gambino joined Tyler, the Creator on stage at Coachella on Saturday night.
Together, the dynamic duo performed 'Running Out of Time' from Tyler's 2019 album, Igor. Tyler also cracked a joke about how he used to 'hate' Gambino but went to therapy to fix it.
It's been more than 12 years since Glover got his musical career off the ground with his debut LP Camp (2011), which ended up debuting at number 11 on the US Billboard 200 on the heels of the singles Bonfire, Heartbeat and Fire Fly.
It would be two years until he followed up with his Because The Internet (2013) LP, which again was greeted with positive reviews along with a number seven debut on the US Billboard 200.
He took three years to release his third LP Awaken, My Love! (2016), and again his music garnered more good reviews, en route to charting at number five on the US Billboard 200.
While there's been a long gap since he last dropped a full-length LP, Glover did work on new music with Kirby, via an EP earlier in 2023 for his satirical comedy horror thriller series, Swarm, starring Dominique Fishback, that he created with Janine Nabers.
For Swarm, which premiered this past March on Amazon Prime Video, Glover serves as writer, director and executive producer.
During the time since 3.15.20 dropped, the artist wrapped on his comedy-drama series Atlanta in November 2022 after a four-season run as the show creator, star, director, writer and executive producer.
Glover has had his hands full as he juggles careers as an actor, comedian, singer, rapper, writer, director and producer; seen in promo for his series Mr. & Mrs. Smith
On a personal front, Glover has been in a relationship with girlfriend Michelle White since 2015, and the couple are the proud parents of three sons; seen in January
During that time he also started voicing the role as Marshall Lee in the adult animated Max series Adventure Time: Fionna And Cake, which has since gotten greenlit for a second season.
In another avenue for his acting, Glover took on the leading man role in the spy comedy series Mr. & Mrs. Smith, for which he also wears the hat of writer and executive producer.
Based on the 2005 film that starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Glover slips into the role as John Smith alongside Maya Erskine as Jane Smith in the new Mr. & Mrs. Smith series that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 2, 2024.
